Michael Groleau is the owner of three miniature dachshunds and a cat rescued from Puerto Rico. He spent eight years in the restaurant industry before transitioning into academia, first pursuing a degree in Biology and later beginning nursing school. Ultimately choosing to leave the program to follow his true passion: animal welfare.

His journey with Suncoast Humane Society began in April 2023 as a Dog Playgroup Lead. Through dedication and a willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities, he has continued to grow within the organization and now serves as Operations Manager.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending his time with his wife and child and values being present with his family.
